SEAN INGRAM
SPRINTS
Coach Ingram is entering his fourth track & field season at EHS in 2025. He had a lot of success with the sprint group in his first two outdoor seasons and aims to build on that progression. He is looking forward to supporting our athletes in reaching their goals in all sprint and relay events.
This will be Coach Ingram's 10th year coaching track and field. He started off coaching club track and still participates with USATF and AAU organized events during the Winter and Summer months. While coaching club he has worked with multiple National Champions, and now State Champions at the high school level. He received the majority of his coaching knowledge hands on in high school and college running open sprints and relays. Coach was initially coached/trained by Donald Gatewood, (Montbello HS) which is the base of all of his coaching. He also drew a lot of knowledge from his club coaches: Marcus Walker and Robert McReynolds (Marcus Walker TC). In college, he trained under Tom Flood (Grand Canyon Univ. Head Coach) at Colorado State University where he gathered more useful track and field knowledge.
As an athlete he was a member of the 1995 & 1996 Colorado State Championship track teams at Montbello; and took second in 1997. Coach had some individual and relay success as well, winning the 100m, 200m, 4x100, and 4x200 relays. At the collegiate level he still holds the school record at Colorado State University in the 100m dash, and 4x100 relay together with his teammates.
Coach plans to pour all of his passion and knowledge into the student-athletes of Eaglecrest High School for years to come. Coach Ingram is USATF Level 1 & 2, Sports Science, and SafeSport Certified.
